When making funeral arrangements you will be asked to select a coffin. At the time of making your choice please remember that a coffin is designed for one function; that is the transportation of the deceased from one point to another in a dignified manner.
Whatever the amount you pay the function is the same; the cost of the coffin will only reflect the embellishment, style or type of wood used in the construction. The vast majority of coffins used today are constructed from chipboard covered with either simulated wood veneer or a true wood veneer. These can be used for either cremation or burial.
We are able to supply a complete range of coffins and caskets, from cardboard through to solid oak. Many of the coffins we provide are biodegradable or green coffins.
We are happy to provide a coffin or advice to people who may wish to carry out a funeral for a member of their family without engaging the services of a funeral director.
